Inductive Automation Releases FactorySQL™ 3.1, New IA TotalCare™ Support

SACRAMENTO, CA MAY 1, 2007 - Inductive Automation is proud to announce the latest release of its flagship FactorySQL product. Version 3.1 continues to improve the popular OPC-to-SQL data bridge with a host of usability upgrades, as well as the introduction of Alert Distribution Lists, a powerful addition to the built in alerting system.

FactorySQL has always provided e-mail alert support as a basic feature, and with version 3.1, that feature is better than ever. Alert Distribution Lists provide a powerful way for users to send different alerts to different people based on a flexible expression system. Need to send alerts to different people based on severity? What about to different people based on the time of day? These situations, along with many other common alarming scenarios, can now be accomplished quickly and easily.

Furthermore, since the distribution groups are stored inside of the database, they can easily be modified and administered quickly through FactoryPMI. In fact, we have already made a FactoryPMI goodie freely available on our web site to provide users with drop-in support of alert distribution lists.
